We have outlined the detailed steps you will need to take to help you with your IELTS test booking.
Three ways to register
Online registration
Follow the steps outlined below to register online for IELTS.
1 Browse the IELTS registration website https://www.ieltsidpindia.com/registration/registration
2 Select the test type.
3 Select the test module, which will vary based on the selection of test type in the option above.
4 Select the test city and click on Book now.
5 Select the date from the calendar which shows the available dates in Green.
6 Select the time slot from the table on the right which shows the available time slots and click on Book Now button.
7 Fill in personal details e.g. title, first name, last name, email, phone etc.
8 Update your address and other details
9 Upload copies of your passport
10 Share the college(s) / institution(s) with whom you want to share your score.
11 Review the details.
12 Make the payment and save the receipt for reference.
13 Courier the first and last pages of your passport to the IDP head office. This is an important step, if not followed you will not be allowed to sit for the test.
14 Carry your original passport on the day of the test
Register in person at an IDP branch
There are 2 methods to register in person at an IDP branch
Method 1
- Register online at the IDP branch using a computer pay fees and get confirmation of your seat.
- Submit a photocopy of your passport.
- Submit signed terms and conditions document.
- Collect your acknowledgement letter which confirms your seat in the test.
Method 2
- Fill out the physical form available at the IDP branch.
- Sign the terms and conditions provided with the form.
- Append a photocopy of your passport’s first and last page along with any observations.
- Pay the fees by
- using a debit/credit.
- Demand draft (drawn in favour of “IDP Education India Private Limited, payable at New Delhi”) at one of the banks listed in the approved list of banks which is provided in the terms and conditions document.
- Depositing cash in an ICICI bank branch using an ICICI deposit slip. This slip can be downloaded from the IDP IELTS website or collected from the IDP branch. The original copy of the ICICI deposit slip needs to be submitted to the IDP branch office.
Once you have completed the payment you can request the staff at the IDP branch to upload your application in the online system and share the acknowledgement with you.
Registration by courier
- Download the application form from here. You can also collect this form from the nearest IDP centre.
- Fill out the form.
- Submit the signed terms and conditions document.
- Submit the photocopy of your passport’s first and last page along with any observation pages.
- Submit the demand draft of your test fees. This should be drawn in favour of “IDP Education India Private Limited, payable at New Delhi” made from a bank listed in the list of approved banks in the terms and conditions document. if you have deposited the fees by cash attach the original copy of the ICICI deposit slip.
- Courier all the above-mentioned documents to the address below
